Dr. Kassra A.R. Oskooii, PhD from the University of Washington, is the Co-Founder and President of Operations at IT4Education. With a distinguished academic record and over 15 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Oskooii plays a pivotal role in driving IT4Education's mission forward. His extensive involvement in research, teaching, advising both undergraduate and graduate students, and holding various leadership positions have provided him with a profound understanding of the diverse needs of students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

     At IT4Education, Dr. Oskooii utilizes his expertise in empirical research to assess the technological needs of educational institutions, providing targeted solutions to tackle their unique challenges in today's rapidly evolving landscape. With his extensive experience in higher education and data science, Dr. Oskooii is positioned as a trusted advisor capable of guiding educational institutions towards sustainable technological advancements that promote equitable growth and innovation.

Joseph Smith, a graduate of Jefferson University with a bachelor’s degree in information and technology, assumes the role of Co-Founder and President of IT Enterprise. With over a decade of specialized experience in the IT sector, particularly within K-12 and higher education, Joseph brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the forefront. His tenure as the Director of Information Technology at Cabrini University was marked by transformative initiatives, including the seamless migration of data and intellectual property to Villanova University. Joseph's visionary leadership, complemented by his profound understanding of IT intricacies, positions him as a driving force for innovation and operational excellence within our organization.

     Joseph's hands-on experience spans a spectrum of critical IT initiatives, from setting up new ticketing systems to managing servers and networks. He has led core upgrades of internet infrastructure and facilitated seamless integration of new firewall systems. Joseph has configured switches and access points across campus, ensuring optimized performance and connectivity. His proactive approach to competitive purchasing and asset deployment has maximized resource utilization and efficiency. Moreover, Joseph has played a pivotal role in classroom configurations and upgrades for remote learning. His adeptness in securing grants from local and federal governments for over ten million dollars for equipment upgrades underscores his commitment to advancing educational technology. Joseph's efforts in certifying institutions for compliance with IT data standards with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education have contributed significantly to maintaining institutional accreditation.

Co-Founder/President of Cybersecurity

Zachary Smith, a graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and specialized certification in cybersecurity, holds the position of Co-Founder and President of Cybersecurity. With a robust background in safeguarding both public and private institutions, Zachary boasts a proven track record in cybersecurity. Kicking off his professional journey at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Zachary focused on healthcare cybersecurity, fortifying defenses and safeguarding sensitive patient data. 

     Transitioning to Lockheed Martin, Zachary assumed the role of a classified cybersecurity engineer, where he played a pivotal role in protecting government defense systems and invaluable data assets. His commitment to excellence is evident in his leadership of initiatives aimed at identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, ensuring the integrity of our nation's digital infrastructure. With a DOD Government clearance, Zachary underscores his dedication to executing security protocols effectively and upholding stringent security measures. He remains steadfast in his dedication to ensuring the security of university systems, fostering a secure digital environment conducive to learning and innovation.
